Im 30 years old, diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer in Sept 05, RAI Jan 06 and now awaiting whole body scan in August 06 with appointment book for results in Sept 06. Had Thyroidectomy in Sept 05 at which point they discovered signs of spread to the lymph glands situated directly in front of thyroid.
Oncologist has told me that she beleives that the scan will be clear in September 06 and i should not ahve any further complications later on in life.
Still tough going through all this as i have a 2 year old son, Jack whom i want to see grow up, get married, have his own kids etc etc.....
